Real Madrid pull off latest transfer market masterclass

Fútbol español

La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week sealed their latest frankly brilliant piece of work on the transfer front.

This comes courtesy of the club’s purchase and ensuing deal to part with Nico Paz for the 2nd time in the space of two years.

Youngster Paz of course brought a close to his time on the books of Real Madrid back in the summer of 2024, making the move to Serie A outfit Como in search of more consistent playing time.

The Argentine went on to find precisely that in Italy, emerging as one of the country’s standout performers over the course of the last two seasons.

All the while, the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu stood by licking their lips, ready to make use of a cut-price buyback clause included in the deal which sent Paz to Como.

Precisely as much was activated earlier today, taking the attacking midfielder back to Spain for just €9 million.

But as alluded to above, Real’s Paz plan was not finished there…

As revealed by market insider Fabrizio Romano, Florentino Pérez and co. have since agreed to immediately sell the 21-year-old back to Como, for a hefty €60 million.
